Background
Aldar has announced steady progress on the development of Aldar Logistics Centres, a major next-generation logistics hub rising inside Dubai’s National Industries Park (NIP). The project, created in partnership with DP World and delivered by Group AMANA, is designed to meet growing demand for high-quality industrial space in the UAE.
The logistics park will cover nearly 150,000 square metres and include three modern buildings for single or multiple tenants. Aldar will build the project in two phases and plans to finish it by the first quarter of 2027. The facilities are built to support automation, modern storage systems, and the fast-evolving needs of third-party logistics providers, e-commerce platforms, and retailers.
The Grade A complex includes 15-metre usable eaves height, FM1 floor flatness, and flexible unit sizes ranging from 5,000 to 60,000 square metres, allowing tenants to scale efficiently. Each building will have independent access and a one-way circulation system to enable smooth movement and easier operations.
Construction on phase one is already underway, and senior executives from Aldar, DP World, and NIP recently marked the groundbreaking of phase two.
Jassem Saleh Busaibe, CEO of Aldar Investment, said the project underscores the rapid growth of Aldar’s logistics portfolio, which now exceeds one million square metres. He highlighted the site’s strong connectivity, sustainable features, and operational flexibility.
Abdulla Al Hashmi, COO for Parks & Zones at DP World GCC, noted that demand for logistics space in Dubai rose by about 225% last year. He said the development will help companies expand with confidence while strengthening Dubai’s position as a regional logistics hub.
The project aims for LEED Gold certification and will include solar-ready rooftops, energy-efficient cooling systems, and eco-friendly materials. It has already been recognised as the “Industrial Logistics Project of the Year” at the 2025 Logistics & Transport Awards.
