Under the contract, Halliburton will deliver drilling and completion solutions across Aramco’s unconventional gas operations. The company said its integrated service model is designed to improve operational efficiency, increase workflow reliability and support large-scale development programmes.
Halliburton will also introduce intelligent automation technologies for hydraulic fracturing to improve real-time performance during multi-well operations. The company said these digital solutions will help improve efficiency and strengthen operational reliability.
The project includes the deployment of the Kingdom’s first fully integrated intelligent fracturing platform, combining Octiv Auto Frac and Sensori fracturing monitoring services. Halliburton said the technology will support the development of the Jafurah Basin, one of Saudi Arabia’s key unconventional gas resources.
The company also plans to increase investment in local manufacturing, strengthen its supply chain and expand workforce development programmes in Saudi Arabia to support the growing scale of unconventional gas activities.
