The expansion is part of Willis D&F’s plan to work as one global team, connecting risks to the best markets. Clients now have access to over 400 insurance markets and can benefit from expert advice on products, placements, analytics, and claims.
With this update, Willis’s wholesale market hubs now include London, Madrid, Bermuda, Miami, Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. The addition of Dubai strengthens the firm’s reach across the broader Middle East, while Madrid enhances connectivity with Latin America.
Garret Gaughan, Global Head of Direct and Facultative at Willis, said: “We’re delighted to add two more global hubs. Clients are increasingly looking to complement traditional market access with the advantages offered by emerging and established international marketplaces. These hubs bring us closer to local talent, expertise, and market knowledge,” said Garret Gaughan, Global Head of Direct and Facultative at Willis.
Eleni Lykoudi, Head of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEEMEA), added that the expansion shows Willis’s commitment to strengthening its regional presence, improving services, and supporting long-term growth in the CEEMEA region.
Ivan Sainz, Head of Spain, said the Madrid hub will help the company use insights from different industries and markets. “This improves our ability to handle complex and changing risks and makes Madrid an important international access point for the future,” he explained.
With these new hubs, Willis aims to offer clients competitive and future-ready insurance solutions worldwide, while expanding its global reach and collaborative approach to risk management.
