Background
Intersolar Middle East 2026 will bring together solar and renewable energy industry leaders in Dubai next month, with a three-day conference focused on the region’s accelerating energy transition, energy security and the growing role of solar power and energy storage. The event will take place in early September at the Dubai World Trade Centre as part of the 50th edition of Middle East Energy.
Organizers expect more than 1,500 exhibitors across 18 halls and over 35,000 visitors at the combined event. Intersolar Middle East will occupy a dedicated hall and pavilion space, showcasing technologies spanning solar power, energy storage and related renewable applications.
The conference will feature more than 40 expert speakers addressing key developments across the MENA energy sector, including solar photovoltaic technology, battery energy storage systems, grid modernization, electrification and the integration of large-scale renewable energy into power systems. The sessions that are set to be held on the first day will involve a talk about the contribution of solar energy towards the sustainable power transformation across the globe and an evaluation of the market opportunities and challenges till 2030.
The conference will also include case studies on solar mega-projects and commercial and industrial developments, offering insight into major solar projects transforming energy markets across the region.
The event comes as Gulf and wider MENA markets accelerate investment in renewable generation and energy storage while working to strengthen power security and reduce reliance on conventional energy sources. Organizers said the program would give industry leaders and technical experts a platform to discuss technologies and market trends expected to shape the region’s energy landscape. Visitor access to the exhibition floor and conference will be free with registration.
