Background:
INFiLED has completed the installation of its MVmk2 Series outdoor LED display at the A Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, strengthening the presence of large-format digital advertising along one of Dubai’s busiest corridors. The new screen has been deployed at the relocated site of Pixels World, a digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising company, where more than half a million people pass each day.
Located within walking distance of major landmarks such as Dubai Mall, the Dubai International Financial Centre, and the Museum of the Future, the A Tower site sits on Sheikh Zayed Road, the UAE’s longest and most important transport artery. The venue is regarded as one of the best places to advertise since it is visible and has a large flow of people.
The installation includes the INFiLED MVmk2 LED display with 10.4mm pixel pitch and a 30 by 10 metre canvas with a total area of 300 square metres. The display produces brightness up to 10,000 nits, which provides the display with the ability to be seen clearly even during the day when the sun is shining, which is one of the major criteria of outdoor advertising in the climate of Dubai.
The MVmk2 Series is built with durability and efficiency in mind, as it is rated with an IP65, and it has a heat dissipation system developed to enhance its performance under harsh outdoor conditions. According to INFiLED, the display provides a 16 percent increase in the average power consumption reduction over traditional outdoor LED screens, which helps to promote low-energy consumption.
The A Tower took a total of 12 weeks to be completed, starting with the concept and including the entire setup. The technical team of INFiLED collaborated with the project to make the specifications in accordance with both the requirements related to the operation and environmental conditions of the high-profile location.
The new installation is now operational, and the A Tower display is anticipated to increase the effectiveness of digital advertising within Sheikh Zayed Road, in addition to providing better efficiency and stability to the operators.
