Background
On 26-27 November 2025, Dubai will host the first Middle East Digital Acceleration and Transformation Expo (DATE MENA). The event will bring together more than 2,000 global decision-makers, 200 investors, 60 speakers, and over 50 tech companies for discussions, deal-making, and innovation. A second edition, DATE KSA, will take place on 8–9 December in Riyadh.
Organised by global business facilitator Trescon, DATE MENA will operate under the theme “Human Potential Meets Digital Possibilities.” The expo will highlight how emerging technologies can create real-world impact across sectors, covering artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, metaverse, quantum computing, robotics, 5G, biotechnology, and gaming, with a focus on supporting women in technology.
The event will feature the FutureTech World Cup, Innovation Programme, Launchpad, and Jobs Initiative, bringing together talent and companies shaping MENA’s digital economy. Industry partners such as EY, Demandify, Fia Ventures, and Magure will showcase projects and solutions.
Among the key speakers are Dr Sid Ahmed Benraouane, advisor to the Dubai Government; Paul Dawalibi, CEO of RAK DAO; Dr Ayesha Bin Lootah, Assistant VP at VARA, UAE; and Dr Marwan Al Zarouni, CEO of AI at the UAE Department of Economy and Tourism.
“DATE MENA offers a valuable platform to share knowledge and show how human potential can align with digital innovation,” said Vladimir Arshinov, group CTO at EMSTEEL. Trescon’s group CEO, Naveen Bharadwaj, added, “DATE connects ideas with action, bringing together policy, investment, and innovation.”
The expo comes as Dubai continues to advance its D33 economic strategy, emphasising AI-led innovation and reinforcing the city’s role as a leading global technology and entrepreneurship hub.
