Background-

MedAire has expanded its regional footprint beyond Dubai into Saudi Arabia, Egypt and India as business aviation operators across the Middle East seek integrated medical, security and risk management solutions.

Its Dubai Assistance Center runs as one of two 24/7 aviation security platforms, alongside the Phoenix, Arizona, facility. Both support business and general aviation operators worldwide with medical, security and operational risk management.

Reely Rajan, director for India, Middle East and Africa at MedAire, said the Middle East has grown into one of the company’s most active and important regions, where client needs keep rising in scale and complexity. He said global reach works best with local knowledge, strong relationships and quick action in medical or security situations.

Peter Tuggey, managing director for aviation Europe, MEA and APAC, said the Dubai team shifted its operation during a recent regional challenge and kept working without a pause. Specialists answered calls, handled cases and stayed beside clients.

Regional operators call MedAire a key operational partner. Clemens Rothmann, captain and director of flight operations at DC Aviation Al-Futtaim, said the support strengthens crew and passenger safety. Paul van der Blom, head of aircraft management services at Empire Aviation, said expert teams handle the details passengers rarely see.

Ali Alnaqbi, founding and executive chairman of MEBAA, said business aviation demand across the Middle East stays strong, driven by economic growth, rising private wealth and expanding aviation hubs in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
